Valle de Uco Lodge
Centrally located in Valle de Uco, about a ten minute drive toward the Andes from the town of Tunuyan. This fifteen acre property features 7.5 acres of Malbec vineyards, a tree-lined entry road accessed via a bridge over a small stream, open fields and fruit orchards. A welcoming entry area with rose gardens awaits in front of the main lodge and adjacent to a two-bedroom/two bathroom private house (available for guest rental).
The main lodge has a large modern kitchen designed for parties and cooking classes, a dining room, living room and wine bar. Through a covered archway you reach the library and the living room with satellite TV, the office, a wine cellar, and a private guest suite. From the dining room, living room and library there are French doors that open onto extensive covered verandahs. An outdoor BBQ area is complete with an authentic mud oven for baking delicious empanadas and other South American specialities.
The eight primary guest suites are in two separate buildings, four suites in each building. Shaded by massive old-growth trees, the suites form a U-shape around manicured lawns, decks and the swimming pool. Everything looks out over the vineyards straight up at the glacier-draped Andes.
